Style Blog: 5 of the Best Christmas Jumpers

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Nottingham chapter.

It’s that time of year again! Lots of lovely (and some really tacky) Christmas jumpers are available all over the high street ready for a cosy Christmas day outfit.  Having never owned a Christmas jumper before, I really wanted to have a search and get into the Christmas spirit, without being too garish! So I’ve found these jumpers which I think are a little more classy than the typical Christmas jumper.

1 – Topshop Holly Jumper

This jumper is so nice, all the holly berries are little red sequins meaning it still has that little bit of glitz we all associate with Christmas but is still a nice cosy style for wearing after you’ve eaten all that Christmas dinner! I think this could be worn at other periods of the year than Christmas as well as it’s quite a toned down festive design.

2 – ASOS Reindeer Jumper

I picked this jumper out because I love anything animal print and think these reindeer are really cute. I think this jumper looks great with a shirt styled under it too for an extra bit of warmth. White is also a great colour as it complements all trouser and skirt colours.

3 – Topshop Polar Bear Jumper

This jumper is so sweet, the polar bear looks like it’s wearing the hat out of a Christmas cracker and the polka dot effect looks like little snowflakes. This is also a good length for wearing with leggings and knee high cable knit socks rather than jeans, perfect for comfort on Christmas day!

4 – Next Snowflake Jumper

Again this jumper would be great to wear with leggings, and the design is really simple but still really festive. This jumper is quite a lot thicker than the other ones I chose, so it’d be perfect under a coat for a Christmas day walk.

5 – Brat and Suzie Skating Deer Jumper (available at ASOS)

I absolutely love the Brat and Suzie brand, they always do cute jokey animal prints, and this one is a particular favourite. It features a Bambi style deer on ice skates in a sketchy style print. The wide neck makes it the perfect loungewear to wear with fairisle print leggings and cosy slippers on Christmas morning when opening presents.

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas (maybe celebrating in one of these jumpers!)
