It’s Fur-reezing! Faux Fur Must Haves To Keep You Warm This Winter

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Nottingham chapter.

Winter is coming and it’s that time of the year when we all attempt to wrap up, whilst still trying to look as cute as possible! Now, if you’ve been on the high street lately you’ll have noticed that faux fur is everywhere – and for a good purpose too! It’s the easiest way to keep warm whilst still looking super stylish.

Here are some of my favourite faux fur essentials for this winter:

Hats

Hats are a great way to keep your head and ears nice and warm from those harsh winter winds. This River Island Beanie Hat is perfect for just that and it’s gorgeous too!

Mittens

We all know there’s nothing worse than walking into your lecture with hands so frozen you can’t even pick up your pen! So why not try these Topshop Mittens – they will definitely keep your hands nice and toasty!

EarMuffs

Now if you suffer from cold ears but you want to avoid that dreaded hat hair then these EarMuffs are the perfect solution! They are totally cute, affordable and trust me – they really do keep your ears warm!

Snood/Scarves

Faux Fur snoods and scarves are another easy way to wrap up and keep warm this winter. They’re the perfect solution to styling up an otherwise boring outfit. Here’s a gorgeous Topshop snood currently in stores for all you fashionistas– grab it before it’s gone!

Headbands

And lastly headbands! If you’re like me and you feel you can’t always pull off certain hats, then you’ll love this! Somewhere in between a hat and earmuffs, this Missguided headband is the perfect way to keep warm and add a bit of fur to your life.

So hopefully one or two of these faux fur accessories has tickled your fancy for this winter. But remember girls, don’t overdo it with the faux fur – You don’t want to look like you’ve just escaped from the zoo!
