Intimate Encounters: Gemma’s Goodbye

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

My dearest readers,

Welcome back to Notre Dame! I hope it’s been a fantastic semester for all of you so far. I know I’m definitely missing Feve every Thursday. Yes, that time has come. I am no longer a student at Notre Dame, and more importantly, I am no longer living in South Bend. As such, I must bid you all farewell. Sort of. I won’t be writing for Her Campus anymore. Tear, tear. But have no fear! I have two excellent pieces of news for you!

First of all, I’ll be continuing my writing by blogging about my sexcapades on my new website Intimate Encounters. Please feel free to keep reading (or not), and also keep in touch with me!

And second of all, and more importantly, HCND is going to have a new resident relationship/dating/hooking up expert. Ladies and gents (I know of at least two guys who read this column, yay male representation!), may I introduce my beloved friend Mila Reynolds. She’s brilliant and funny and talented and has a really amazing outlook on life and love, so enjoy her column and take full advantage of her — she’s given me some great advice over the years and I have complete faith that she will do the same for you.

Have a wonderful year (or years) at Notre Dame, and know that I’ll always be here for you.

xx, Gemma.

Intimate Encounters is a new column I'll be writing for Her Campus ND and I decided to become a part of it because I want people (especially women) to start feeling comfortable with their sex life. I’m not here to lecture, preach, or tell you that everything that I have done or will do in my sex life is the right or wrong thing to do. I’m going to talk about mistakes that I’ve made, amazing experiences that I’ve had, firsts (a lot of firsts), funny stories, awkward moments, and people that have made a difference in the woman I’ve become. Hopefully I’ll also be able to answer any questions you might have-- seriously, no shame.
