With the weather getting warmer (or so we can pretend) it’s the perfect time to clean out our closets and make room for this summer’s latest looks! Two major trends are lace and floral. These styles can be dressed either up or down and customized to fit your style. Feminine and flirty, these prints will be a staple in your closet. The best part is that they can be worn all day from brunch to errands to out at night, and here’s a few ways how:

1. This H&M floral print romper is perfect for a day in town with your girlfriends or a late night date. It can be accessorized with wedges or flats depending on the occasion. Throw in a bright bag and a long necklace and you’re ready to go! (It also has pockets, which is always a plus)

2. Urban Outfitter’s baby-doll dress is great for a weekend beach getaway or just a day at home. Its loose style can be structured with a jean jacket or embraced with a cardigan. Either way, you can’t go wrong with this dress. The rusty floral pattern is different and fun, adding a little variety to the whites and grays we convince ourselves “we’ll wear every day.”

3. Forever 21’s large print floral tee can also be dressed up or down depending on function. While it is shown online with shorts, which can make a great daytime outfit, it can also be worn with black pants and a blazer for potential job interviews (for those of you still looking, you’re not alone). The bright blue flowers make a statement, while still maintaining a classic look. Accessorize with other colors to make the flowers pop or neutrals to mellow them out.

4. Lace is being shown everywhere, and this Forever 21 crochet romper is a fun twist on an already great thing. Rompers, serving as a fashion trend by themselves, tend to be flattering on virtually every body shape (and they require minimal planning and zero matching for an instant outfit)! The criss-cross straps in the back add extra detail to the delicate lace pattern. Add a hat or necklace to make the outfit your own!

5. Urban Outfitter’s lace shorts are great for looking cute while feeling like you’re wearing pajamas (and who wouldn’t want that?!) The scalloped detail on the bottom takes the feminine look to the next level.  All you need to add is a tan…so get the wardrobe ready and bring on the summer!
