Tell us about your upcoming “Sail with a Sailor” event!
Sail with a Sailor is a great opportunity to get out and experience the water! Our campus is beautifully situated on a great lake, and very few students take the opportunity to get out and have fun on the water. It’s Friday afternoon and all day Saturday and Sunday, and features a beach party vibe with sailboat rides by team members.
What’s the greatest part about being on the NU sailing team?
The best thing about being on the Sailing Team is getting to go sailing as much as you want – we get to practice four days a week and we have regattas most weekends. It’s an awesome opportunity to get good at sailing and to just get out on the water and decompress.
What else are you involved in on campus?
I’m not really involved in anything else, to be honest. I live in Slivka but I’m not really that involved in it anymore. I spend pretty much all of my free time sailing.
