Simply adding a faux fur vest over your go-to everyday outfit is the easiest way to pull off fur for daytime, Vericella says. Her personal favorite outfit is a brown faux fur vest worn over a colorful yellow blouse for a splash of color. “You can really bring the faux fur vest into spring by adding a colorful blouse underneath,” she says. Vericella then suggests wearing a pair of flared jeans, which are also trendy for the upcoming spring season “If you just feel confident in it, you won’t feel awkward,” Vericella says.

Simply adding the vest over your basic white v-neck paired with skinny jeans is also an outfit approved by the stylist. For a night out, Vericella suggests changing your everyday blue jeans into something more edgy, like a pair of skinny leather pants or vivid colored denim jeans. While keeping the jewelry simple, Vericella recommends wearing stiletto booties for an edgy detail that will transition your outfit from day to night. A faux fur vest is a versatile piece appropriate for both day and night, but Vericella says there is one rule that should always be remembered: wearing long sleeves under the fur vest. “If you were to wear it over a tank dress, it would be fine, but I think the look is more for longer sleeves,” she says.
