Halloweekend in Boston

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Northeastern chapter.
October 31st is coming up WICKED fast, as are the many events and activities requiring a costume: Do you have yours yet?

If not—what are you waiting for?

To make sure you don’t miss out on the many exciting, spooky, scary and out-of-the-ordinary happenings going on for this eerie Halloweekend, we’ve compiled a list of some of the fun things you can do around Northeastern and in Boston!

Spooky World at Fenway Park
Get ready to be scared, well, sh*tless. You’re sure to have nightmares after visiting Spooky World at Fenway, but the thrilling haunted ballpark is just the thing to get you in the Halloween spirit. Visitors to the park will get to experience three haunted attractions, and plenty of “Boos.” The park will be open beginning Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 6. Get your tickets today! Tickets are $45 for general admission.

Salem

You’ve probably heard about Salem, seen it in movies, and learned about its “spooktacular” past—but have you ever actually been there? Nowhere else really celebrates Halloween quite like Salem (the epicenter of the Halloween world), so it’s better you experience it for yourself. Luckily, Salem is accessible by the commuter rail (http://www.mbta.com/riding_the_t/whats_new/?id=20364), so whether you want to go on guided haunted house tours, make your way through a corn maze, get your future read by a psychic or just run around among other ghouls and ghosts in costume, you’ll find plenty to do.

Halloween Pub Crawl @ Goodbar

Though only for the 21-and-over crowd, this pub crawl features some of the best bars in town with some of the cheapest specials behind the bar—think $2 draft beers, $3 Bud Lites, and $4 well drinks). Mix and mingle with new friends and old friends dressed up to deceive. This year’s crawl is taking place on both Saturday, Oct. 29 and Monday, Oct. 31: Visit Good Bar or call (617) 475-3110 for details!

Get out there to enjoy complimentary appetizers, 8 bars, $3 Shipyard Wheat Bottles and a fun-filled day with friends. Remember: This is a 21+ event!

Pru Boo

Trick or treat—for charity! Head to the Prudential Center this Sunday, Oct. 30 for treats, face painting, magic tricks and pumpkin decorating at some of your favorite local mall stores.
