Day 5: Dear 18-year-old me
Dear 18-year-old me,
Life.. is scary right now. You’re breaking down, going through things. You’ve got “the love of your life” annoying you, school, college, graduation, prom, trips, summer job… STOP. I know it’s not easy to say that. But please. That little boy you fussing over, he doesn’t even make it past the first semester (and good riddance too). That college letter you stressing over, you go to college, boo! Therapy helps. Despite what some people say, it helps. Sure, the ghost words of your childhood still linger on and cause your pain & sadness, but they’ll go away. They haven’t yet though, and I’m 2 years ahead of you. Girl, you didn’t even think you’d get this far. Remember when you were 14 and you wanted to dip?
