HC NCSU’s Favorite Fitness Class: Spring Break a Sweat!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at NCSU chapter.

Sick of that same tiring, boring, ineffective workout routine? Your body gets used to (and therefore becomes unchallenged) the 30 minute run on the treadmill and the circuit of weights you usually do. Not to mention, you just get bored with the idea that you’re about to go to the gym to do the same exact thing you’ve done every other day for the past few months.

When it comes to working out and seeing constant results, variation is necessary! That’s why our very own Campus Recreation has a set of different fitness classes that will give you that love-to-hate sore feeling the next day! I’m going to tell you about Her Campus NCSU’s personal Favorite: Spring Break a Sweat! Held on Mondays & Wednesdays 6:30-7:25pm, in studio B.

This hour long cardio/strength class was explicitly made for the collegiette looking to be in shape in that itsy-bitsy-teeny-weenie-yellow-polka-dot-bikini by spring break! Hard to believe that a class held twice a week can have affects that soon, but it’s true! I’m talking from experience here ladies! Set up in a circuit, this class targets your whole body with cardio circuits between strength exercises in these main areas: arms, legs, and a last step emphasis on the abs. Your whole body will feel the results after every class.

With popular songs in the background, an encouraging instructor, and 100 other girls (give or take) going through the same pain and excitement as you, it’s impossible to not want to come back to this class that progressively gets a little bit more challenging each week! Don’t let spring break sneak up on you this year, pounce on it with your fine self!

*Arrive to the class early though! It fills up fast and once all the spots are filled, you won’t be allowed in!
