Hayden Brislin ’13

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at NCSU chapter.
Meet Hayden Brislin: A native of Charlotte, NC who is pursing his education here at North Carolina State University as a Design Studies major! This second-semester sophomore is a real sweetheart, definitely someone you might want to take home to meet the parents. And good news: he’s smart, studious and single!

So what so special about this cutie? His great sense of humor! When I asked him what his favorite sport was he teased, “tall-bike jousting.” He listed some of his “guilty” pleasures as watching the movie Mean Girls. His corky answers were enough to put a smile on my face. Which we all know is the best way to win anybody’s heart.

Sense of humor aside, his artistic nature is what really sets him a part from the countless other cuties. Not only is he an amazing guitar player, but he can sing too! He actually won tickets to a music festival by calling into a radio station and singing on air. Obviously, the radio announcer heard what I heard and realized this guy has an amazing voice. And if his musical talent doesn’t wow you, his artwork sure will. He is modest when he says that it’s “just a hobby.”

Some of this cutie’s Favorites!

Favorite food: Chicken Alfredo
Favorite song: Where to Begin by My Morning Jacket
Favorite place to vacation: Pisgah National Forest
Favorite moment at N.C. State University: rushing the court after NCSU beat Duke in
basketball. Hayden raved, ”It was awesome; best school spirit moment for sure!”

So next time your wondering who that cute artsy guy is: his names Hayden Brislin
