Inspirational Quotes to Help You Get Through Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mt Holyoke chapter.

Congratulations on finishing the semester! Though classes are basically over, you still have to get through finals. When you’re swamped with exams, projects, and papers, all of which are likely heavily weighted, things can feel a bit (or very) stressful. Thankfully, this worrisome time will soon pass. Before you know it, you’ll be free for the summer! In the meantime, here are some inspirational quotes to help you get through finals:

“Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.” -Gail Devers

“Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance towards the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point.” -Harold B. Melchart

“The expert in anything was once a beginner.” -Helen Hayes

“Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” -Og Mandino

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” -Margaret Fuller

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” -Thomas Edison

“I believe that every person is born with talent.” -Maya Angelou

“Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.” -George S. Patton

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” -Christian D. Larson

“Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m possible!’” -Audrey Hepburn

“Preparation is the key to success.” -Alexander Graham Bell

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” -Malcolm X

“The more you find out about the world, the more opportunities there are to laugh at it.” -Bill Nye

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” -Henry David Thoreau

“The most difficult thing is the decision to act; the rest is just tenacity.” -Amelia Earhart

“The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.” -Aristotle

While this is a difficult part of the semester, hopefully these quotes will help keep you motivated and inspired. And always remember that the stress you feel now will soon pass. Good luck with finals!
