When Korean singer Psy released the music video for “Gangnam Style,” his first single off his sixth studio album, he didn’t anticipate the song becoming that popular. However, over the course of only two months, the music video has garnered over 190 million views on Youtube; who knew riding invisible horses could become such a fad. Now that Psy has suddenly taken over the global music scene with his “dress classy, dance cheesy” demeanor, he has also helped introduce KPop (short for Korean pop music) to various parts of the world. Bigbang/G-Dragon: Known for their experimentation with various styles of music and fashion, the boy band has earned respect for the member’s involvement in composing and producing their own music.
