Taking care of our skin is a vital routine in the morning as well as our at night before we go off to bed. It’s important to always wash our faces and moisturize as well as performing scrubs about twice a week. The key in keeping a “Baby Faced Beauty” is starting early, before problems arise. Do not wait until the signs of wrinkles show up to start applying moisturizer and anti-aging cream because the years of neglected care are irreversible. Taking care of our faces at an early age will help prolong our youth and reduce wrinkles and we can all accomplish this at an affordable cost. If you have sensitive skin, try looking out for products that indicate it’s for sensitive skins.

Step 1: Face WashYou need to buy the product that works with your skin, whether it’s oily, dry or combination. After determining what type of skin you have, you need to assess what types of problems your skin seems to have. The problems could range from blackheads to acne control to blemishes and more. Biore, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, and L’OREAL are great cleansers that can be found at a local drug store pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens. Finding the right type of cleanser is important, but it is also important to switch up the brands once in a while. This is because our skin gets accustomed to a type of cleanser if it is used for a long period of time, and the effects will slowly start to dwindle.

Step 2: Face ScrubIt is important to perform a scrub at least twice a week to exfoliate in order to keep our pores clean and our skin smooth. Performing scrubs allows our skin to get rid of dead skin cells, making our skin smoother and minimizing the size of our pores. This should not be done more than twice a week, because although it is good for our skin, overusing it will only scar and damage our skin. St. Ives tends to be the top choice, because of its natural ingredients and great effect but L’OREAL, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, and Biore are also top choices. Like face wash, face scrubs are in the same price range.

Step 3: MoisturizerAfter every face wash, it is vital to moisturize our skin to keep it healthy and radiant. For those who suffer from excess oil, there are moisturizers that are oil free like OLAY. If you have combination skin, try using oil free moisturizer, because excess oil does lead to pimples and clogged pores. Aveeno, Simple, and Neutrogena are great moisturizers and tend to be under $10. It’s imperative to moisturize after washing our faces, because our skin needs moisture to keep hydrated like how we need water to keep hydrated. Applying moisture not only to our faces but our necks is also very important. Moisturizer is a preventive measure against wrinkles, and people often neglect the neck region which also needs to be moisturized.
