The win against Nebraska Saturday night wasn’t just another push closer to a Big Ten Championship win for the Spartans, it also brought Senior, Draymond Green, his 1,000th rebound. This makes him only the fourth player in the history of Spartan Men’s Basketball to get the honor. His 20 points in Saturdays game not only helped the Spartans in the victory of 62-34 over the Cornhuskers but also brought us closer to an outright Big Ten Championship and a no. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA Championship in March. Green is a leader on the court, for not only his teammates and coach Izzo but also for the entire Spartan Nation. Senior day is this Sunday, March 4 and we know it will be a somber day for the Izzone and all #23 fans but will be an exciting leap into March Madness.
