What is your favorite thing about your internship?
My favorite thing about this internship is that I feel closer to my college through the work I do. I get to talk to faculty, staff and students about all the great work they are doing, and it is so rewarding to me. I have met a lot of great people through the this internship that I don’t think I would have touched base with otherwise.
What advice would you give to students looking for an internship?
Use your resources — career fairs, advisors and professors can help you network and polish your resume better than you can do on your own. Don’t give up, even if you get rejected by the internship of your dreams. If you start small, you can gather experience along the way and work your way up to your dream position.
What’s the best thing about going to MSU?
Feeling like you are a part of something so much bigger.
What’s the worst thing about going to MSU?
Probably how much walking you have to do!
What’s your dream job?
My dream job is to be a director of digital marketing content.
