5 Beauty Products That Are Actually Worth Your Money

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

Are you new to makeup and skincare? Or are you simply over spending hundreds of dollars in one Sephora run? Here is a list of my favorite beauty products that live up to their reviews.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation- $12.99

For being a drugstore brand, this foundation makes a long-lasting impression. This product reacts well with combination and sensitive skin. I can put my makeup on at 7 a.m., and there will be no shine by the end of the day. This makeup is full coverage, and I’ve never gone back to high-end foundations.

Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel- $13

When I first tried this product, I immediately saw results. This is a gentle exfoliator that removes dead skin on the face and lips resulting in smoother, brighter skin.

Hard Candy Liquid Eyeliner- $6

This eyeliner is comparable to Stila’s liquid eyeliner. It stays all day. I have worn this eyeliner while swimming, and it didn’t come off. The formula is quick-drying and jet black, while the felt tip makes it amazing for perfecting a cat-eye.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water- $6.99

Perfect for all skin types, this miracle holy-grail of makeup remover dissolves all traces of makeup and dirt on your face, and even removes waterproof makeup. The bottle lasts for months for an everyday makeup-wearer and is cheaper and gentler than makeup removing wipes.

NYX Dark Circle Concealer- $5.99

This concealer is cream, blends well and is full-coverage without caking. Perfect for the morning after a sleepless night or for that no-makeup makeup look.
