Collegiates, meet this week’s campus cutie, Tiara Knox! Tiara is a dance major at Montclair State University and she is finishing her freshman year this month. Tiara chose to come to Montclair State University for many reasons, but some are because it is medium sized school and it is very close to New York City. After much thinking, Tiara knew that Montclair State University was the best choice. Tiara has been dancing since she was little and she loved it ever since; choosing to major in dance was the easiest decision for her. Other than dancing, Tiara loves to cook and she is a huge poetry fan.
Tiara’s favorite place to go eat is a restaurant called Deltas; it is located in New Brunswick, NJ. Tiara also tells HCM that she works at a dance studio and she teaches children in Maplewood, NJ. Tiara loves to stay busy but, in her spare time she enjoys listening to music and she is open to all different types. She says, “I love all types of music, everything from hip hop to classical”.
Tiara is single at the moment. We asked her what she looks for in a guy and she tells us, “The biggest thing I look for in a guy is a great personality! I love to laugh and have a good time, so if he can keep me smiling that’s great”. Tiara says that the most important thing to have in a relationship is good communication and to value honesty. Communication is KEY to any relationship because the two parties need to feel comfortable to talk to one another. When it comes to her requirements for a boy to have, Tiara does not ask for much; all she asks is that he is taller than her. Tiara’s vision of a perfect date is very simple, she would want to order food, watch a movie, and just hang out. We asked Tiara where she saw herself ten years from now and she tells us, “In ten years I imagine myself married, or close to it. I would like to be the owner of a successful dance studio, and maybe even have my own company”.
Tiara has a great future ahead of herself and we cannot wait to see all that she will do!
