This week’s Campus Cutie is Chinwe Ike. Chinwe also goes by the name Chichi and she is a junior majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance. Chichi plays club volleyball at Montclair State University and loves to sing and watch movies on Netflix in her free time. She is also currently single and loving life! Most college students are into pop music because it’s the type of music that makes you want to get up and dance, and we’re pretty sure that everyone is currently in love with Taylor Swift’s song, “Shake It Off.” Chichi isn’t like most college students because her favorite type of music is a combination of reggae and jazz! We asked her who her favorite band was and she said, “My favorite band is Sublime! One of their popular songs is called ‘Santeria’.”
We asked Chichi if she had any pets and she said, “Yes. I steal my friend’s dog occasionally and want to claim her (Sierra) as my own.” Chichi is so funny! We asked her what her favorite dessert was and without hesitation, she tells us, crème brulee and banana pudding. Chichi sure does have a sweet tooth! Chichi’s favorite restaurant is Chili’s. She said, “I love Chili’s because I have a lot of memories being there. My brother and sister work there, so the free food makes me love it even more.” Free food is literally the best food!
Chichi’s dream place to live is in a studio apartment in New York. But, when she has a family that will change. “When I have a family, [I would like to live] in a two story house with a spiral staircase in the middle of the living room”. Chichi told us her five-year goals and said, “In five years, I will have graduated with a Masters Degree in Business or Education or both. I’ll be working my way up in a company that I love. I’ll have bought my own car and apartment. I hope to be in love again. But wherever life leads me, I’ll be happy with everything life has offered me.”
