We are all college students, which means we have a lot on our minds, dead lines to meet, and other commitments. Whether you’re a freshman or a senior it’s still hard to balance schoolwork, a social life, getting involved in the community and/or work. However, it is always good to remember that MSU offers useful resources right at your fingertips!

You don’t need to be an English major to stop at the writing center that is located inside the library. Writing is an important skill for everyone to have and the people who work at the writing center can aid in your development as a writer. It’s also always good to have a fresh pair of eyes look over and reread your essays. You can make an appointment or stop by during their drop in hours.

3. Tutoring

Do you need help preparing for a mid-term or final? Are you having trouble understanding a subject such as math or a foreign language? MSU offers tutoring right on campus! 4. Student Recreation Center

Exercise is an excellent way to stay in shape and become healthy. Burn some calories and de-stress from a long day of classes by working out at the gym. The gym has to offer various exercise machines and recreational programs such as: group fitness, club sports, special events, off campus trips and outdoor adventures. The gym is also a great way to meet people. Be apart of this experience at MSU!

5. Academic Advising

Many of us become overwhelmed quickly at college, having someone who is experienced and educated such as your advisor to talk to can help more then you think. Your advisor is a great resource to utilize, whether you need help picking courses for next semester, deciding on a major or getting advice. You can either make an appointment or stop by during office hours.
