There are quite a few iconic posts out there in social media every so often. However, there’s one verified account out there that continues to be truly iconic (and somewhat rude) continuously without fail. And that verified Twitter account is Wendy’s. I don’t know who manages Wendy’s Twitter but there is one word that describes whoever they are very perfectly: savage.
People will @ Wendy’s on Twitter and make jokes like this consistently. However, unlike most social media accouts, Wendy’s claps back. Watch out McDonald’s and BK lovers. This girl will start swinging.

Don’t test Wendy because she will come back at you. I believe that account user is still shook from the experience. Imagine how awesome it would be having this job though? I could be this petty for a living let me tell you. As for whether this expert marketing strategy actually works: Wendy’s currently has 1.46 million followers. Competitor McDonald’s has 3.37 million and Burger King has 1.48 million. It would seem after all the attention it’s received, you think it would be more popular? Meanwhile it is actually the least popular despite having better sales than Burger King. Guess all the public roasting hasn’t been working in its favor? Well your guess would be wrong because it actually gained them 300,000 followers.
