The French Mermaid was inspired by the love of vintage. Featuring a finely curated selection of vintage designer handbags, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and home decor. The collection is composed of timeless classic pieces that have been left to their own beauty, as well as a collection of pieces that have been reworked to create new charm.
The French Mermaid is looking for eager interns during the Fall 2017 semester.
Responsibilities include the following:

Selling at Soho Market, Chelsea Market and Bryant Park Winter Village Pop-Up shops

Assisting the designer when needed – such as making runs to the fabric/jewelry stores, managing online inventory system, merchandising and pricing

Managing social media
Qualifications for the position:

Sophomore/Junior/Senior in college

Excellent verbal/selling skills

Ability to multitask

An eye for creativity

Professional manner

Organization skills
Hours:
The French Mermaid will work with you based on your school requirements and work/school schedule; however, we ask that you are able to complete a minimum of two days a week or 15 hours/week. Hours of business are between 10:00am- 8pm.
