Her Campus Mizzou: What is Mizzou Student Foundation’s goal?

Michael Yenzer: Our goal is to educate the student body about the importance of charitable giving to the university and the opportunities afforded to Mizzou students as a result of private donations.

HCM: What is your favorite part of MSF?

MY: My favorite part of MSF is honestly our weekly meetings. We have an amazing group of students from diverse areas of campus, and together we collaborate on how to help students understand the significance of private charitable giving. It’s always a enlightening hour of my week as we strive to find new ways of raising this awareness. Plus, there’s always a bowl of candy. I’m a sucker for chocolate.

HCM: What other organizations are you involved in on campus?

MY: I am a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon

HCM: What do you do in your free time?

MY: Besides perpetually checking my application status for law schools, I’m an avid reader and love the outdoors. I ride my bike everywhere and play any sport with a ball. I consider myself a freelance pizza and doughnut critic.

A writer and creator with a weird sense of humor. A big fan of the golden rule and an even bigger fan of the Blackhawks. Chicago-born, Mizzou-made. HCXO
