Why did you choose Millersville? I chose Millersville for the quality and affordable education. Growing up in the Greater Philadelphia Area, I wanted a change of pace, and Millersville provided the perfect environment.
What is your favorite thing about your time at Millersville? My favorite thing about Millersville is the dedicated faculty and staff. My professors are always available to help me, and they genuinely care about my education and success beyond Millersville.
Why did you choose your major? I chose to study psychology and gerontology because I am passionate about working with people, especially the elderly.
Are you involved in anything on campus? I play Ultimate Frisbee, I am a Senior Desk Attendant for Housing, and I am a tutor in the psychology department.
What positions have you held in Ultimate Frisbee? Last year I served as vice president, and this year I am president.
If someone were to join Ultimate Frisbee, what do you think is the best takeaway? The best takeaway of playing ultimate is the comradery. The team is friendly, helpful and accepting of anyone who is willing to learn.

What’s your favorite memory from being a psychology major? My favorite memory from being a psychology major has been meeting my advisor, Dr. Thyrum. Dr. Thyrum has had an incredible impact on me since my time here at Millersville, encouraging me to do my best and achieve my full potential. She is one of the many professors I have met at Millersville who have demonstrated their commitment to their students and the University.
What is your favorite thing to do on campus? My favorite thing to do on campus is play Ultimate on the quad in the spring.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I am currently researching graduate programs for gerontology, public health and health psychology. We’ll see where the wind takes me!
What will you miss the most about Millersville? I’ll miss the lasting friendships I’ve created.
