You’ll be buying these items at the cheapest price possible - so you’ll be getting more bang for your buck! Just watch your savings grow! Energy Drink Induced Deaths and Illnesses?

The FDA recently reported deaths and illnesses linked to consumption of some popular energy drinks. So far they have linked 40 illnesses and five deaths to Monster Energy, 13 illnesses and two dissabilities to Rockstar Energy, and 92 illnesses and 13 deaths to 5-Hour Energy shots.  The FDA traced these effects back to adverse-event reports (AERs) that patients, families, or doctors filed about the products. The product manufacturers who market their drinks as nutritional supplements must collect these reports and submit them to the FDA.   READ MORE

Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are joining the award-winning Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. Due to the sensitivity of these topics, this march allows a comedic way to break the ice, and hopefully have people take them more seriously. It is important to remember that sexualized violence does not just affect women. It affects the men who care about them, their families, their friends, their coworkers, and their communities. Incredible Story of the Arts at Millersville

On Friday, October 12, the Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center officially opened after two years, six months, and twelve days since its groundbreaking. The VPAC is the new home of the arts at Millersville and the entire community is talking about it. The VPAC has a dance studio, state-of-the-art recording studio suite, scenery workshop for theater productions, an art gallery, ensemble and percussion rooms, music library, a 40-station piano lab, and three performance spaces, which includes a 300-seat concert hall, 150-seat recital hall, and a 650-seat performance hall.  But that's not all. The Search Continues

Millersville University is searching for a new president.  There are currently six candidates on the lineup - Dr. John Anderson from New York, is the first to visit campus.  Dr. Anderson was on campus from October 2-4, meeting with students, faculty, and the President's Cabinet in two open forum sessions which were held in the Student Memorial Center.  Dr. Anderson is the President of Alfred State College in New York and is also the Executive Vice President and Provost at Hartwick College and Vice President of Academic Affairs at the State University of New York Institute of Technology. I think I can speak for everyone when I declare my exhaustion before my day is even over. Everyday we wake up early, attend a lengthy day of classes, attend organization meetings, go to our part-time jobs, do homework, and sometimes don't get into bed until after midnight!
