Everyone gets those munchies right in the middle of studying. Maybe it’s beause you are bored, trying to avoid your homework or maybe you are actually hungry. Try a few of these tricks the next time you get the munchies:

Don’t do your homework in the kitchen or somewhere near food.

Walk away from the food for 10 minutes, usually the craving will go away by then.

Don’t be negative. If you ate two cookies, don’t tell yourself that you have completely messed up and eat the rest of the box. Tell yourself that you messed up, but it will be okay if you just stop now.

If you really have to eat something, try a heatlhy option. If you are craving sweets, try apples and caramel.

Treat yourself. After you finish that paper, reward yourself with a few handfuls of chips.

We wish you the best of luck on saying no to those mid-studying munchies!
