Why did you choose Millersville? It was a really affordable college with a good foreign language program, and I liked the website which had lots of pictures of the campus.
What is your favorite thing about your time at Millersville? All the amazing people I’ve met and the memories I share with the friends I’ve made.
Why did you choose your major? I’ve always loved languages and in high school, my language teachers pointed out that I had a knack for it.
Are you involved in anything on campus? I work for Housing as a Program Assistant (PA) at Houdini’s, I’m involved in many clubs/organizations such as the HCSA (Honors College Student Association), Mini-THON, History Club, French and Spanish Clubs (when my schedule allows me to make the meetings), and I’m also Vice President for Moose Ultimate Frisbee.
What positions have you held in Honors College? Fundraising chair and Vice President.
If someone were to join Honors College, what do you think is the best takeaway? I would definitely say the community. You get to know and become friends with some of the most interesting people.
How would you join Honors College? Anyone can apply to be in the Honors College, you have to maintain a 3.35 overall G.P.A. to stay in it. Usually you apply your incoming freshman year after being accepted to Millersville. If you meet the requirements you get in. However, anyone can apply whenever.
What’s your favorite memory of Honors College? The Homecoming Parade is always one of my favorite things to do with the honors college; freshmen year we did a Disney theme and last year we did The Walking Dead. The parade has been one of the most fun things I’ve been a part of and one of my favorite memories.
What is your favorite thing to do on campus? Spending time with my friends whenever I can (usually playing Ultimate Frisbee) or watching a movie.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I’m not 100 percent sure but as of right now it’s 50/50 split in between trying to become a voice actor and working for the United Nations in Humanitarian Affairs. Honestly I’ll be happy with any job I can get where I can use my language skills to help others.
What will you miss the most about Millersville? I will miss my friends the most.
