This week’s campus celeb is our very own Claire Aalerud, sophomore from Winchester, Ma! Along with Claire’s mom and dad, she also has a sister named Ali and two cats, Daisy and Lilly. Claire is part of the Merrimack Cross Country and Track teams where she earned Rookie of the Week and was able to travel to Spokane, Washington for nationals as the fastest freshman competing in the NE-10’s conference. She is also part of the Athletes in Action organization as well as our Merrimack College Campus Ministry where she has helped organize events including the recent bring a friend to mass day. As a business management major, Claire hopes to someday work internationally for a positive and upbeat company that will allow her to help people. With close family living internationally, she hopes to follow in her father’s footsteps of studying abroad and working in Switzerland. Claire loves Merrimack’s gorgeous campus and the real world experiences that our college offers. She also loves skiing and even though she currently is a runner for Merrimack, Claire has always loved tennis and swimming, almost as much as her love her shopping! Claire is a positive, friendly, and adventurous person and is a great girl to know on campus! If you have the chance to meet Claire, you won’t regret it!
