College Day Sunday 2013By May 2, 2013 - 11:10am Mercer University Educational Opportunity Center presents College Day Sunday 2013 Sunday, May 5, 2013 1:30 p.m.-4:00 pm Christian Fellowship Church 621 Walnut Street Warner Robins, GA 31093 “College Day Sunday” is an initiative to increase college awareness among nontraditional and underrepresented students. The event will include college and financial aid information sessions, college trivia, kids’ games, a basketball shootout, and singing competition. Movie NightBy April 17, 2013 - 7:00pm Hosted by: Building Tomorrow and ASA REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED!! This is a great event where they will be watching a movie called The First Grader. It is mainly about a 84 year old man who is wanting to go back to school because he never had a chance to when he was younger. This movie has alot of insight as to one of the things both Building Tomorrow and ASA promote. We want to promote education in Africa because many people there dont have the opportunity to go to school. Please come out and join them, it will be a great movie. READ MORE |
