With the return of “The Walking Dead,” I think it is appropriate to look at the fiercest female moments from the show. If you are not completely caught up, I suggest you stop reading now unless you like spoilers.
1.) Maggie being Lori’s midwife – S3E4

This moment showed two badass women doing badass things. Maggie was not the one who had been taught to deliver the baby, but seeing it as the only option, stepped up to the challenge.
Lori knew it was either her or her baby who was going to survive and she easily chose her baby. Her bravery and gut-wrenching goodbye to Carl left eyes wet and glossy.
2.) Michonne tanks the Governor -S3E8

Michonne discovered that the Governor was keeping walkers, specifically his daughter. Killing her, the Governor attacked Michonne and an epic fight pursued. She blinded him by stabbing him in the eye with glass. It would have ended more deadly if Andrea did not step in, blocking the Governor from Michonne.
3.) Carol kills Lizzie – S4E14

This whole episode was heartbreaking for Carol. She had already lost her daughter and then took Lizzie and Mika under her wing. When Lizzie killed Mika in attempt to show Carol that she could change and it would be fine, Carol knew what she had to do. While crying, Carol told Lizzie to look at the flowers before she shot her in the head.
4.) Carol blows up Terminus – S5E1

Carol covered herself in walker viscera to blend into the other walkers to approach Terminus (a cannibalistic community that was holding Rick and the others) undetected. She created an explosion when she ignited a propane tank letting the walkers into the train yard. This caused panic throughout the city and let Rick and the others escape while she recollected some of their supplies. Without Carol, it is quite possible that the their stories would have ended with being eaten.
5.) Beth kills rapist cop -S5E4

Up until now, Beth had been seen as the little girl. She was captured by another group run by cops. One of which, took advantage of the girls there. When he cornered Beth, making her his next victim, she fought back and threw him to a walker, ending him, without even getting her hands dirty.
6.) Beth stabs Dawn in attempt to save Noah -S5E8

A deal had been made in order for Beth to go back to Rick’s group, but Dawn, the selfish bitch she was, demanded an extension of the deal. She wanted Noah. Beth hugged Noah goodbye but realized how evil and manipulating Dawn was. In a final attempt to stop her, Beth stabbed Dawn with what she had on hand, but was shot in the head in a brutal reaction. It was her bravest, and last, moment.
7.) Carol kills Paula – S6E13

In a quick, but difficult fight, Carol must kill Paula in order to save the communities from the Saviors. Thinking that they are attacking the main head quarters, Rick’s group devised a plan to take it over and get rid of Negan only to later find out how wrong they were. Carol ended up having to kill Paula in a hand to hand fight, ending in Paula being struck through a pole and her facing being eaten by walkers.
8.) Maggie and Sasha (and Jesus) save the Hill Top – S7E5

After nearly dying due to complications with her pregnancy, Maggie woke up one night to loud music coming from a car and multiple fires set in the community. Sasha told Maggie she could handle it without her, as Maggie should be resting, but Maggie found a tractor to run over the caged car admitting the music while Sasha (and Jesus) killed walkers and shut the gates.
9.) Rosita tries to kill Negan – S7E8

Rosita had been fed up with Negan for awhile now, and decided to take things into her own hands when Negan killed Spencer in front of everyone. She would have killed him too, if Lucille (his precious bat) has not gotten in the way. When Negan discovered that the bullet she shot at him was homemade he demanded to know who had made it. Rosita would not cave and kept insisting it was her. Her actions might not have been actually calculated, but even Negan recognized how badass she was.
10.) Sasha’s ultimate sacrifice – S7E16

Seeing no other way, in the season finale, Sasha sacrificed herself in attempt to kill Negan. She surprised him in the most epic way— coming out of the coffin as a walker. It was heartbreaking to watch, but she saw it as the best option. Her selflessness was not enough to kill Negan, but it was enough to create a distraction for Alexandria to fight back.
Bonus: Maggie punching Gregory, because we’ve all wanted to do that at some point (S7E5).
