As the weather gradually starts getting warmer and we’re approaching spring, it is time to trade our stronger scented winter perfumes for some lighter and fresher frangrances. Here are a few of my personal favourites:

One of my favourite perfumes that I’ve been wearing for years is Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy. Floral and glamorous, Viva La Juicy is a mixture of wild berries, jasmine, mandarins and vanilla. It comes in a beautiful bottle and is good for women of all ages!

Another one of my favourite scents that works great for spring is Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. A beautiful, fresh and romantic scent that is great for an every day scent, its main notes are Sicilian orange essence, pink peony, Damascus rose and white musks.

One of my all-time favourite perfumes is Ralph Lauren’s Midnight Romance. Its notes of raspberry, peony, vanilla and ambrox create an amazing, sensual and feminine scent.

Victoria’s Secret is known to have great perfumes, and one of the best ones in my opinion is Sexy Little Things Noir Tease. It is a sweet and flirty scent with notes of black vanilla, frozen pear and gardenia, and you can purchase it in either eau de parfum or in a body mist.

Another great scent by Victoria’s Secret is Bombshell, one of their best selling fragrances. It’s a citrusy scent that isn’t too sweet but is still fresh and sexy. It contains notes of tangerine, grapefruit, purple passion fruit, peony and vanilla orchid. Just like Noir Tease, this scent is also available in both an eau de parfum and a body mist.

Sometimes perfumes can be a little bit pricey, but you don’t have to spend a ton in order to smell nice! Here are a couple of budget-friendly items that smell just as great:

Two amazing scents for spring are Yves Rocher’s Purple Lilac and Lily of the Valley eau de toilette. Both of these floral fragrances are amazing and literally smell like spring! They aren’t as long lasting, but you can always reapply it during the day or even pair it with a matching body lotion to make the smell last longer.

It’s not surprising that Victoria’s Secret also makes great body mists at more reasonable price than its perfumes. I really love The Mist Collection, and my favourite scents from it that are great for spring are Love Spell and Pure Seduction.

Perfume may well be a girl’s best friend; with any of these scents you’re sure to get compliments on how lovely you smell!
