Her Campus (HC): Why did you shoose Marywood?
Nicole Southard (NS): I was very comfortable when I came her for my overnightand they had my major which was originally Art Therapy.
HC: What are you involved in on campus?
NS: Alpha Sigma Psi, the last two year I was Fundraising Chair and this year I will be Public Relations Chair. I’m part of Education Club, I’m in a lot of honor societies including the Art Honor Society.
HC: Why did you pick teaching as your career?
NS: I want to be able to inspire the next generation and it’s sad that art is being cut in many districts and I kind have want to I don’t want to say be the one to save it but if I could save it in my district I would be very happy.
HC: Where do you see yourself in five years?
NS: Five years I hope to either have my masters or be starting my masters.
HC: What’s a fun fact about yourself?
NS: I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue! HC: What has been the most memorable experience you’ve had at Marywood
NS: I would have to say anything Alpha related.
HC: What made you want to join Alpha Sigma Psi?
NS: Having a family sort of on campus away from home. It’s awesome being able to see someone on campus smile or wave or know there will always be someone in one of your classes.
HC: Favorite place to eat on campus?
NS: McGowan!
HC: What do you order at McGowan?
NS: Crispy Bacon Ranch Wrap with mayo instead of ranch.
HC: Dunkin or Starbucks?
NS: Dunkin.
