Her Campus (HC): What are you involved in on campus?

Lia Sohl (LS): Admissions Ambassador, Tutor, Kidstuff, Study Abroad, SAC, PR Chair for Phi Beta Lambda, Marketing Club

HC: What is it like being an Admissions Ambassador at Marywood?

LS: Best job in the world! 

HC: What does your job entail?

LS: I sit on student panels, I give tours weekly and I phonecall prospective students and send them post cards.

HC: What has it been like preparing for Kidstuff this year?

LS: Stressful but a lot of fun!

HC: What made you choose Marywood University?

LS: Small class size where I’m a name and not a number and my major!

HC: What has been your best memory from your time at Marywood so far?

LS: Living with my best friend, Meghan.

HC: What would you tell prospective students that are thinking of attending here?

LS: If you’re looking for a small school with personalized attention where you make friends right off the bat then come here!

HC: So you said you studied abroad, What was that like? and where did you go?

LS: I went to London and it was the best time of my life.

HC: While you were in London where was your favorite place you went?

LS: Iceland.

HC: What did you do while you were in Iceland?

LS: Went to the Blue Lagoon only because the Kardashians went there, saw the Northern Lights and a glacier.

HC: What do you have planned for next year and after graduation?

LS: Next year I will be a senior living off campus and hopefully getting a job with the company from my internship. HC: Where is your favorite place to eat on campus?

LS: McGowan.

HC: Dunkin or Starbucks?

LS: Dunkin.

Alexandra Goebelbecker is a senior Advertising and Public Relations Major with a Comprehensive Social Science Minor. She co-founded Her Campus Marywood in April 2015 with McKensie Curnow. She makes up 1/2 of political column, Back to Back with co-author, Anna Notchick. In addition she is an intern at Condron Media, Student Activities Shadow, President of service sorority, Alpha Sigma Psi, Vice President of Marywood's Chapter of PRSSA and AAF, and LYM Campus Crew Member.
