Your New Go-To Eye Make Up Look for Fall Should Be This

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Maryland chapter.

Some basics before you get started:

Pick about 3-4 shades.  For lighter skin tones, plan to work your way into a brown shade. For medium to darker skin tones, you can work into a black shade. Pick a brush that is easy to maneuver and able to be precise. I like to use more sparkly eye shadows rather than matte colors.

Once you have everything you need, it is time to get started.

Begin with a golden tone, somewhat close to your own skin tone.

Apply the lightest shade to the inner lid.

Apply the second shade on the middle lid.

Apply the darkest shade to the outer lid. Work the shadow up to the crease of your lid. The angle of the shadow should aim for the end of your eyebrow.

Blend to create a smoother and more ombré look.

Apply mascara and eyeliner if you’d like! Draw the eyeliner to the edge of your darkest shade.

That’s all and now your makeup is complete. Impress the fam with your new look at Thanksgiving dinner!
