We all know that we have our own personally influenced sense of style we like to show off through the clothes we wear everyday. But a lot of people overlook how much of it we incorporate in decorating where we live! Being independent now means that we get to call the shots on everything from where we shop for décor to what themes we want for our rooms/apartments. You can always tell at least a little bit what type of a person someone is just by going to their place for the first time. So, what does your room say about you?
Beach/Nautical Theme
You’re cool and relax, or at least you’d like to be. You like to daydream often and imagine that you’re some place where the weather’s warmer and stress levels are way less.
Black and White Everywhere
You’re probably the type of person who likes when everything matches, or you’re just really bad at making decisions on color schemes. Either way, this super classy theme shows everyone that you have your stuff together, and you don’t have any time for distractions. A little conventionality never hurt nobody!
Artsy Grunge
Your room is filled with really sick posters of your favorite musicians or trippy pictures. You’re super laidback and you don’t really care that when you have guests over they can’t see the floor under all the mess.. Love it or hate it that’s just you.
Preppy and I know It
You have monogrammed pillows, and almost everything Lily Pulitzer that your struggling bank account could buy laying around your room. You are the ultimate prep and you embrace that aspect of yourself to it’s fullest. Anyone who comes in your room can probably just assume you’re in a sorority or just really like everything to be perfect.
A Little Bit of Everything
Your room looks like you took whatever looked coolest in the store and threw it in there. There are so many colors and different prints in your place that most people wouldn’t be able to handle it, but you adore the way it looks. You love to have fun and meet new people; you had too much energy to sit still long enough to plan a theme for your room. Most of the time you’re too busy out partying to look at it anyway!
