Who: Student Entertainment Events (SEE) is a University of Maryland group of undergraduate students who plan all concerts, comedy shows, movies, lectures, and special performances on campus. They work alongside a set of advisers to bring the most anticipated and popular artists, speakers, and comedians to the school.

Student Entertainment Events has brought some of the entertainment world’s most popular artists to UMD over the past several years. Last year, Nelly headlined the concert, whileLudacris, Ben Folds, and Weezer performed in previous years.

What: SEE’s annual spring concert, Art Attack, will bring B.o.B and opener the Dean’s List to the University of Maryland campus.

Where: Byrd Stadium, University of Maryland, College Park, Md.

Why: SEE Concerts Director Amina Goheer said that her main focus was to bring a relevant act to campus. “His songs are heard all over the radio and his shows are heard to be fun and exciting,” said Goheer.

A combination of factors goes into choosing an artist for Art Attack, Goheer said. The budget amount and availability of the artists are important, however, she said that SEE weighs their decision heavily on student input. A survey with four names was given to the students, and based off the results of the survey, B.o.B was chosen.
