1. The girl you only see out
Maybe you two used to be super closer, maybe she was in a class with you once, or maybe you dated a pair of best friends three years ago. Either way, this is the girl you get so excited to see whenever you’re out, and spend a decent amount of time trying (you probably can’t hear much of what she’s saying because of the music and/or the crowd) to catch up. You promise you’ll get lunch soon, but you don’t even end up talking again…until the next time you see each other… out.
2. The girl who just wants to dance
She could’ve had a stressful week or just has a ton of energy. This is not the girl you bring to get a quick drink at a bar; she is the girl you go out with when you’re feeling crazy and have some serious steam to blow off. The best part? She’s hardly ever self-conscious, so when you see her busting out her ridiculous moves, she doesn’t even look silly. Plus, you’ll never be bored when you see her out.
3. The girl who becomes your bathroom best friend
At some point in the night (probably several times), you will head to the bathroom, only to realize that another girl already occupies it. Instead of being pissed you walked in, she’ll be super nice and friendly, complimenting you on your outfit and asking for help putting her earring back in. You might hear her life story, but don’t be alarmed: she just needs someone to reassure her that her best friend’s being dramatic and the guy she likes is only trying to make her jealous. Do this, and you will forever (well, for three minutes) fall into her good graces. Sometimes I wonder what happened to all of those girls…and why they only exist on the weekends.
4. The girl who’s always on the prowl
She doesn’t understand what a GNO is, so don’t bother planning one with this girl. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing; she makes a heck of a wingwoman when you need one. She just has her priorities set when she leaves for the night. Oh, and since she’s always looking, she’s always dressed to impress, too. Fair warning for when you’re not feeling the heels or straightener.
5. The girl who just really wants food
This is the friend who gets antsy as it gets later in the night; she does NOT want to leave the party too late, because then there will be nowhere left open to get food. She may or may not have been talking about or hinting that she wants to leave since you got there. Honestly, she probably came out just so she could get food afterwards. And while it might annoy you sometimes, you can’t really blame her, because you’re secretly thinking the same thing. What beats 3 a.m. pizza anyway?
