Snapchat update has said farewell to the Best Friends list and has tried a new approach with Emojis.
With the new update, emojicons will appear beside your favorite snappers usernames with different meanings.
Snapchat just took “Best Friends” to a whole new level, without any warning as to what each emoji means.
Luckily, Her Campus got to the bottom of each emoji!
Rumor has it not very many active users are too happy with this feature, especially if you’re BF is not you’re actually BF! How about if your boyfriend’s heart emoji is next to another girl’s username!
However, that would involve some major dirt digging considering these “Friend Emojis” are exculsively private to each user! (Shhh, we won’t tell though.)
Hopefully this update doesn’t ruin any relationships! If a contraversy starts to occur, it looks like Snapchat will have to create a whole new update to tell us who are true friends are ;)
