The board members of Her Campus Marist presented at the weekly Student Government Association meeting this morning in the final step of the club chartering process. The group previously presented to the Club Affairs Board, and was unanimously voted to become an official club on campus. In front of the student body representatives, President Anna Marotta, Editor-in-Chief Cristina Lupo, Senior Editor Megan McCormack, Social Media and Events Coordinator Mackensi Considine, and Marketing and Advertising Director Amanda Bagala explained what Her Campus is, how it is different from other clubs on campus, and why Marist students need Her Campus Marist. As a chartered club, Her Campus Marist will now be able to reward members with Priority Points, hold events on campus, and advertise at the Activities Fair. The Her Campus Marist e-board could not be happier with this development, and is excited to finally be recognized after almost four years at Marist. Now, the real work begins!
