In case you forgot what beautiful weather looked like, enjoy this photo of The Quadrangle that I took way back when you still ran the risk of showing up class all sweaty. There is truly no place on Manhattan College’s campus quite like The Quad — especially when it is peacefully empty like it is in the photo above. As a senior who is graduating early in just two weeks, my heart breaks knowing that once I receive my diploma, I will be much farther than a brisk five or 10 minute walk from this tranquil place. Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors: Enjoy this space for as long as you can.
I mean, I can personally attest to the fact that reading assignments and paper writing becomes that much more bareable when you have the grass between your toes, the sun beating down on your face and the wind in your hair.
The Romantics were on to something, for sure.
