Summer is officially here and with it the hot weather we have been missing in therecent rain in Los Angeles. However that also means its time to switch over the contents of mypurse for a new season. Every couple of months the arsenal of products in my purse change with the seasons in order to deal with different issues that may arise. These are my must haves for summer.
1. Deodorant
LA gets HOT in the summer so it never hurts to reapply throughout the day. No one wants sweat stains, or to be that person stinking up a cute coffee shop.
2. Mini perfume
Along those same lines it doesnt hurt to carry around a little sample size perfume. Reapplying thorughout the day gives me a burst of energy like i’ve just gotten ready and haven’t been in the heat for 5+ hours.
3. Face mist
This is easily my favorite, and most important, item on this list. There is nothing more soothing that a hydrating face mist on a hot day. I’ve even converted my boyfriend into being a face mist lover. I have oily skin but I never have to worry with this face mist. If anything it make my makeup look even better and helps control my oil!
4. Multi-purpose products
Anything with SPF is a summer essential. This moisturizer has SPF 20 built in but you would never know it. It doesn’t leave your face with that tell tale suscreen white sheen and the fragrance of the product conceals the scent of sunscreen. This mini size is perfect to carry around in order to reapply throughout the day. Sometimes while i’m driving i’ll even put a little on my hands and arms to protect myself from the suns rays.
5. Summer’s Eve Simply Cleansing Cloth
These wipes are my secret weapon. I’ve been using the wash for years and more recently started using the wipes and both have totally changed my life. Lets just say I feel cleaner and fresher than I ever have before. The wipes are free of chemical, dyes, alcohol and parabens and are gynecologist tested to work with every woman’s body to maintain a healthy pH. As if it couldn’t get any better, this brand also NEVER tests on animals. The individually wrapped clothes are perfect to keep in your purse for a mid day cleanse on a hot summer day.
