The leaves are returning to the barren trees, fresh flower buds are blossoming in the bushes as nature is once again awakening from its foggy winter nap.

(*Record scratch)

Actually, scratch that- LA never really had a winter to begin with, but that doesn’t change the fact that SPRING IS FINALLY HERE. The clouds have parted, but only to make way for the fog that actually stuck around from last season – it’s like an outdated skinny jeans trend that refuses to admit the fad is past its prime (actually, who am I kidding- I love skinny jeans).

So, weather update: though signs of spring are beginning to sprout from its nonexistent dormancy, the temperature reflecting an almost perfect day in Southern California doesn’t really hit until 12 in the afternoon. Thus, calling for a wardrobe that expresses your preparation for the new season while shielding you from the morning chill and adding a little blue as a tribute to the memory of winter.

Still don’t know what to wear for the last few weeks of the school year? Keep a look out for more outfits just in time to welcome the summer season and use those last few items you bought years ago but never found time to wear.
