Besides the fact that she is a student, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Steph is also a pageant queen. Steph has competed in many beauty pageants and won Miss Boca Raton in 2012. Sydney Maltinsky-WilsonBy December 9, 2012 - 4:01pm Most commonly known as Syd, Sydney is a sophomore at Lehigh University. She lives in Drinker with many other athletes, including some of her fellow Field Hockey teammates. You can always find her with a smile on her face, even after a brutal practice. Her natural ability to make people laugh makes Syd a great friend and hallmate. Recently, Syd started leaving her huge speaker system in the girl’s bathroom – it has been a constant dance party in Drinker ever since. Lehigh's COMM 30 Class: Helping Sandy VictimsBy November 18, 2012 - 9:06pm Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast hard a few weeks ago, and many areas surrounding Lehigh University have been devastated by the storm's effects. The Lehigh population consists of many students coming from the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania areas that were so badly hit by Sandy. Lehigh's campus itself was also affected, and classes were cancelled for an entire week. Cristina DeSciscioloBy October 24, 2012 - 11:47pm Cristina is a sophomore and currently involved in many things here at Lehigh. She is in the Global Citizenship club, was an orientation leader, a member of Alpha Phi sorority, and a leader on the Student Senate board. Her father is a captain of the US navy which has allowed Cristina to see many parts of the world, ultimately widening her horizons and allowing her to be open to new ideas and helpful in many situations. Fred Carter- Dancing In The DarkBy October 24, 2012 - 10:35pm Fred Carter is a recent graduate of Lehigh University. Fred is the CEO and founder of Carter3productions, the production company of Dancing In The Dark. Dancing in the Dark was first introduced to Lehigh last fall. Lehigh students could not be more excited for the return of the event this Thursday October 25th. Fred's motives for creating the event originally were to give the students at Lehigh a fun Halloween concert where everyone could party and have a great time. Tara Polizzi: Transfer Orientation LeaderBy October 21, 2012 - 9:41pm Tara is a sophomore, who transferred to Lehigh last year, after spending the fall semester of her freshman year at Providence College. She is currently involved in the Best Buddies Club, Colleges Against Cancer, and Microfinance Club. This year, Tara was part of a business group that won 2nd place in the PwC xACT competition. Laura ShermanBy October 14, 2012 - 6:30pm Laura Sherman is a senior at Lehigh who has been cheerleading all four years she has been here. She is also Vice President of Recruitment on Lehigh’s Panhellenic Council, which is the governing council for nine women’s organizations. She is in charge of all aspects of recruitment including any events like the up and coming open houses, recruitment orientation, and formal recruitment. She studied abroad this summer in China where she took two weeks of classes and had four weeks of internship. READ MORE |
