It can be a difficult time of year for fashion lovers here in Leeds. The weather is somewhat unpredictable. This is a dilemma here at Her Campus Leeds we face on a daily basis: what to wear?! It may look sunny, but it is not actually warm quite yet. Despite this, high street stores are filled with summer-inspired holiday looks that result in us dreaming of being far far away. Fear not! We have devised the ultimate lust list for spring 2015 that is practical. That’s right, you do not have to freeze to death to look good, shocking I know.
1.The peep heel boot
It is undoubtedly an awkward time of year in regards to style. The peep heel boot is perfect for the transition from winter boots to summer flats. It is a happy medium for your feet! I’d recommend investing in a leather mid-heel option in order to get the most out of your shoes. 2.The dungaree
Dungarees are like marmite. Unfortunately you will love or hate them. Luckily, I love them! Despite popular opinion, there is a way of wearing them without looking five years old, trust me. Dungarees are on trend and an easy addition to any wardrobe. Wear them with crop tops underneath or layer with plaid shirts and jackets. For a chilly day pair your dungarees with tights and boots.

3.The Culotte
Culottes are perfect for that weird phase between your winter wardrobe and your summer wardrobe. They give you the perfect amount of leg on show without turning you blue! In my opinion they are the perfect summer staple for 2015. You can wear them on cool summer nights or even dress them up for the evening and are therefore definitely worth investing in.

4.Layering
It is essential when moving through this season to layer up! It may appear to be slightly warmer but that does not mean you can put your shorts on quite yet. Layers are the perfect way of navigating the Easter period. Denim jackets, oversized plaid shirts, long sleeved shirts underneath pinafores, you name it, and you can layer it!

5.All about those Jackets
It is time to put your huge winter coat away. But, do not ditch a jacket altogether! You can look chic and stay warm. Invest in a smart, thinner jacket, think Kim Kardashian style. Examples include Pretty Little Thing’s jacket range online. Throw your new purchase on top of practically any outfit and stay warm without working up a sweat.

6.Tight tights
Tights with everything! Well, not literally everything. But they are so useful! When it’s still a little too cold to put your legs on show tights are the prefect solution to still being able to wear basically whatever you want! Paired with shorts, as seen below, or skirts, tights are ideal in this weather.
