6 Movies To Stream On Netflix On Revision Breaks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Leeds chapter.

1. The Breakfast Club

If you haven’t seen it already, it’s time to be indoctrinated into this cult-classic movie. If you have, you know just how good this is with its 80s vibes and casual sexism thrown in (at least it allows us to realize the progress that’s been made!) Bonus points if you can get your housemates together to watch this one and enjoy eating pancakes for dinner.

2. Bridesmaids

If you’re looking for something a little more easygoing to watch with your girlfriends, this is the chick-flick for you. Kristen Wiig’s perfect comedic timing will have you rolling around so much with laughter that you might just briefly forget about those looming deadlines.

3. Shrek

It’s nostalgic, it’s fun, it’s still hilarious after all these years. The moment you hear “All Star” blasting along with the opening credits, you’ll feel all your troubles melt away as you settle in for 90 minutes of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz’s best work.

4. Moana

The best Disney movie of the last 10 years. Don’t @ me. It’s full of brilliant, sing along tunes for you to bop along to. It’s super easy to watch so you’ll be giving your brain a rest.

5. About Time

Richard Curtis does it again. If you love a ‘cookie’ British rom-com you will loveAbout Time. We’d recommend settling down with the fairy lights on, a cup of tea and lots of chocolate. Oh, and make sure you’ve got some tissues nearby, there will definitely be tears!

6. Deadpool

If you’ve not seen Deadpool then where have you been? Ryan Reynolds is a hilarious anti-hero with a dark, twisted sense of humor. It’s light hearted and one of the best superhero movies.

I'm a third year English student at University of Nottingham and when I'm not working or writing, I'm probably watching a Disney movie or listening to one of their soundtracks! I'm a Campus Correspondent for HC Nottingham and generally write about food, travel, and the food I've experienced on my travels!
