So, if you watch Sons of Anarchy, you know that the show always uses the most perfect music for really intense ending scenes. Tonight is the penultimate episode of the series, and the song featured tonight will be “Make It Rain”, sung by Ed Sheeran. I have never heard Ed sing like this! So soulful, painful, and powerful, but that’s because it’s supposed to mimic what the main character, Jax, is feeling. True fans and diehards like myself will know within the first 45 seconds that we’ll be in tears by the end of the episode, because something terrible happened. Ed began watching the show on Netflix and tweeted his love for the Sons a couple months ago. The show’s creator, sick minded Kurt Sutter, reached out to Ed to do some music for the show. His guttural vocals completely capture the pain Jax has carried for the past seven seasons. Not gonna lie, I probably can’t handle what’s about to happen tonight. Luckily “Make it Rain” is good crying music.
