Dress to Impress- 100 Nights Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Le Moyne chapter.

As 100 Nights is right around the corner, I know for a fact our lady dolphins are looking for the perfect outfit with a combination of flashy, sexy, classy, and comfy. Because  there will only be 100 nights, left until graduation, it’s important that you make a spectacular last impression and toast to the future. Here are a few ideas and tips!

Below we have all different types of the LBD. These dresses flatter any personality, wheter you prefer a sleeker look or you enjoy showcasing your curves, there’s a look for you!

Now, to spice these up a bit you can always add fun accessories. My favorite: a fur vest. It adds a little bit of spunk and character to your outfit without making you look too dressed up. Other options of course are statement shoes or jewelry.

The skirts below may be an alternative. They’re  fun, flirty, and perfect for a cocktail night.  They show just enough leg and you can pair it with a cute top of your liking. A loose button up like the model below works perfectly but you can always pair with a tighter top, a flattering strapless top or tank top, like the body suit below.

Like every outfit add statement jewelry and viola! You’re stunning and fabulous!

A flirty dress is very easy to manage. Add a chunky heel and a long statement necklace, bangles, and a big ring, and you’re outfit is set. It’s very easy to transition from day to night as well.

The one shoulder dresses are in super style right now and are extremely versatile and fun.

What you pair your dress or skirt with is very essential. It may make or break your look. A funky blazer adds the spark you may be looking for.

Your shoes, I believe, are the main event of the evening! Get a bold shoe and watch how it brings your outfit together.

Last but not least, your bag! You always want something super cute that will be comfortable to carry and with enough space for all necessities, like lipstick, lip balm, money, your ID and gum!

Hopefully my little tips will guide you in the right direction for a fantastic night! So to all my senior Dolphins, cheers to what’s left, the time ahead, live in the present and be show stopping!

Ivanna Abreu is a junior Communications major at Le Moyne College with a concentration in Advertising and minors in English and Creative Writing. She was born in the Dominican Republic, but was raised in the Bronx, NY. One of her greatest passions in life is the art of communication and how people relate and communicate with each other. Living in New York City only fostered this passion because her whole life she has been surrounded by different cultures and people. Ivanna enjoys writing and reading, specifically about human interest stories. She prides herself in having a great work ethic and unlike some she enjoys constantly being on the move and being busy. In her hands you will always find either her iPhone or coffee (or on a good day both). She also loves all things comedy and is always trying to make someone laugh.
