Of all the organizations what is your favorite things to be apart of? I want to say work-study for CLL but I see and get to know a lot of people in the office, both student and staff. But I really love being apart of them all and the challenges that come with them. No sarcasm.
What’s it like being an Resident Advisor this year? It was a little difficult adjusting to not having my room of three years anymore and it meant that I have to leave my room more frequently. However, I love love love my staff, they are goofy and fun to be around. I there hasn’t been a meeting with my staff when I didn’t laugh until my stomach hurts LOL. I had some experience from being a RA over the summertime and there is a huge difference between the school year and summer.
Why are you so involved in so many leadership positions? To be honest, I’m not so sure. I guess I’m tired of being in my room. I want to connect with other people outside my friend group. People don’t know me and I kind want to be know in a positive way. Plus the school tuition is a lot so I don’t want to waste money on sleeping and staying inside my room. I want to be different and not just a person who came to LMC, did what was required and left… that’s boring and again I love challenges.
What do you love most about being a leader? I love that fact that people can rely on me for things and that I’m not viewed as a child but as an adult. Letting people know that I am responsible enough to work when needed and play on my own time. I’m a Libra, I can balance things hahaha.
What are your future plans? I want to be a Social Worker in a school setting. So I plan to go to graduate school.
Any hobbies? Craft stuff, drawing, writing poetry,play video games (if I have time), reading Mysteries, and Fantasy books, and the best thing in the world…SLEEP !!
