Today, the boys of One Direction surprised fans with their first single without original band member Zayn Malik. We were all devestated when Zayn decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career, but 1D’s new song makes it really easy to forget all the heartbreak. The boys are giving groovy, cool, Miami vibes in the artwork and in the instrumentals of the song. This sound is very different from anything they have ever done, but it is AMAZING. I am so proud of these guys for picking themseleves up after the Zayn situation and coming back stronger than ever. The harmonies are extremely solid and Harry’s vocal runs at the end give me life. The song shows the world that One Direction, whether it has 5 members or 4, is focused on making the best music possible and that absolutley nothing, will drag these boys down.
