Well if you did, you can thank Karin Kopischke for the beautiful costumes. Karin is a Lawrence alum and has her time spent as a student here to thank for steering her in the right direction. She said “Being a costume designer, you have to have a basic knowledge of theatre, literature, world history, cultural history, psychology, art, fashion & textiles. 	Passion for Canoes Leads to Watson Win: Will Meadows '12 By Tammy Tran April 18, 2012 - 2:59pm Will Meadows ’12 can best be described as an inspiration. He was recently awarded the coveted Watson Fellowship, earning $25,000 to travel the world and build indigenous canoes. Said Meadows, “Canoes represent the coexistence of creativity and nature. They lie at the intersection of human ingenuity and place, vessels for exploration, artistic expression and sustenance. 	Professor, Author and Swimming Enthusiast: David McGlynn By Ariella Morik March 11, 2012 - 9:21pm Most students in the English department know of or have had the great pleasure of taking one of Professor David McGlynn's courses. His fields are contemporary American literature and creative prose writing. Professor McGlynn teaches various 300 and 500-level creative fiction and non-fiction courses. After just finishing a term of his course, The Graphic Novel (which I highly recommend to avid graphic novel fans and novices alike), I decided that I had to learn more about him. READ MORE

	Amazing On and Off the Court, Beth Larson '12 By Martha McDonnell November 15, 2011 - 10:59am With her killer forehand, perfect placement, and ace serves, Beth Larson is one opponent you don’t want to mess with on the tennis court. Not only has she been named the LU Women’s Tennis Team’s MVP for three years running, she has also been on the Academic All-Conference list for two years as well as the Dean’s List for three.
