Karin is a Lawrence alum and has her time spent as a student here to thank for steering her in the right direction. She said “Being a costume designer, you have to have a basic knowledge of theatre, literature, world history, cultural history, psychology, art, fashion & textiles. S.O.U.P.: Poetry Slam

S.O.U.P hosted Katie Wirsing Tuesday April 24th in the cafe. A member of the poetry team who won the National Poetry Slam in 2006, she has appeared on NPR, BBC, and countless local radio stations.
